Your data

Take it with you. Delete it when you're done.

Two paths. One is a tap in Settings. The other is an email. Either way, you'll have your data — or none of it — within a few days.

Export your data

You can download everything HeyFamily has about you — your moments, nudges, kid profiles, preferences, and settings — as a single archive.

  1. From the app

Open Settings → Your data → Export. Tap Prepare archive. We'll build the file and email you a download link, usually within a few minutes. The archive is a folder of JSON files plus any photos you've attached to moments.
  2. By email

If you can't get into the app, write to privacy@aureniagroup.com from the address on your account. We'll verify it's you and send the archive within 30 days (usually much faster).

Delete your data

Delete means delete. Not deactivate, not archive, not “hidden but recoverable for 90 days”. When you delete, the data goes.

  1. From the app

Open Settings → Your data → Delete account. Confirm twice. Your account is closed immediately. Your data is removed from production within 7 days, and from backups within 90 days.
  2. By email

Write to privacy@aureniagroup.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

If you only want to delete part of it

You can also delete individual things without closing the account:

  • A specific moment — open the moment, tap the menu, delete.
  • A kid profile — Settings → Your kids → tap the kid → Delete.
  • Your nudge history — Settings → Your data → Clear nudge history.

What about your linked partner?

If you have a partner linked, deleting your account only removes your data. Your partner's nudges, moments, and journal stay theirs — by design. Shared content (moments you both wrote together, household-scoped activities) is kept on your partner's side and disappears from your archive.
